AI projects

Where I build and test AI before I bring it to clients.

Alongside my consulting practice and ZINC, I’m developing AI-powered products of my own. Each one is a proving ground: new tools, models, and workflows get tested on real users and real data here first, and what holds up becomes part of how I help clients scale.

01 · Art discovery

DiscoverArt

Discover art you’ll love, even if you’ve never heard of the artist.

DiscoverArt is a taste-graph discovery engine for art. React to a handful of works, and a visual taste engine learns what moves you, then opens a personalized gallery drawn from the world’s great museum collections. The AI learns your eye; the art is all real, shared through museums’ open-access programs, and nothing on the site is AI-generated.

AI at work
Visual AI that learns taste from the images themselves, not from keywords or forms.
What carries over to clients
Personalization that adapts to behavior in real time, and discovery that works even when a visitor doesn’t know what to search for.

02 · E-commerce intelligence

Predictant

AI-powered prediction solutions for e-commerce.

Predictant gives merchants AI-driven predictions for the decisions that move margin: price optimization, promotion forecasting, competitor monitoring, and margin planning, with Shopify Sync connecting it all to a live store. It is focused on helping merchants get ready for agentic e-commerce, as AI agents increasingly research, compare, and buy on shoppers’ behalf.

AI at work
AI forecasting for pricing, promotions, and competitive moves, synced with Shopify.
What carries over to clients
A working view of how agentic e-commerce changes pricing, product data, and the Shopify storefront.

03 · Automotive fitment

GarageWire

Know it fits before you buy.

GarageWire is fitment intelligence for modified vehicles. Owners park their ride in the garage and get straight answers about what fits, what rubs, and what needs work, backed by real builds running the parts they want instead of guesswork.

AI at work
Structured, evidence-backed answers built from real-world build data.
What carries over to clients
Turning scattered community knowledge into structured, trustworthy answers, the same foundation AI search rewards.

04 · AI website governance

Dispatch

Let AI scale your website, without losing control.

Dispatch is the management layer for AI-powered websites. Teams keep the coding agent they already use, such as Claude Code, Codex, or Gemini, on the repo and host they already run, and every change is previewed, approved, attributed, and reversible. Dispatch also watches the site, scores it, and drafts fixes before anyone has to ask. This website is governed by Dispatch.

AI at work
AI agents build and update the site; Dispatch adds approvals, risk tiers, attribution, and one-click restore.
What carries over to clients
The governance model behind the AI-native websites I help clients plan, so moving faster never means losing control.

Built the way I recommend

AI-native from the first commit.

Each project is an AI-native codebase, built and maintained with AI coding agents. That is the same operating model I help clients evaluate, so the advice comes from running it, not reading about it: the speed, the review process, and where people still need to be in the loop.

FAQ

Questions about Jim’s AI projects.

What each product does, how they use AI, and how the work carries over to clients.

What AI projects is Jim Zaslaw working on?

I’m developing four AI-powered products alongside my consulting practice and ZINC: DiscoverArt, a taste-graph discovery engine for art; Predictant, AI-powered prediction tools for e-commerce and Shopify merchants; GarageWire, fitment intelligence for modified vehicles; and Dispatch, the management layer for AI-powered websites. Each one is where I build and test AI before bringing what works to clients.

What is DiscoverArt?

DiscoverArt is a taste-graph discovery engine for art. You react to a handful of works, a visual taste engine learns what moves you, and the site opens a personalized gallery drawn from the world’s great museum collections, including artists you may never have heard of. It is live at discoverart.com.

Does DiscoverArt use AI-generated art?

No. The AI learns your taste; it does not make the art. Every work on DiscoverArt is a real object in a real museum, with images shared through museums’ open-access programs, and nothing on the site is AI-generated.

What is Predictant?

Predictant offers AI-powered prediction solutions for e-commerce: price optimization, promotion forecasting, competitor monitoring, margin calculation, a real-time dashboard, and a ChatGPT framework for customer interactions, with Shopify Sync connecting it all to a Shopify store. It helps merchants make pricing and promotion decisions with data instead of guesswork. It is at predictant.com.

What is agentic e-commerce?

Agentic e-commerce is shopping where AI agents do more of the work: researching products, comparing options, and increasingly completing purchases on a shopper’s behalf. For merchants, it raises the importance of clean product data, competitive pricing, and clear information an AI agent can read and trust. Predictant is focused on helping merchants prepare for that shift.

What is GarageWire?

GarageWire is fitment intelligence for modified vehicles. Owners park their ride in the garage and get straight answers about what fits, what rubs, and what needs work, backed by real builds running the parts they want. The promise is simple: know it fits before you buy. It is live at garagewire.com.

How does Dispatch keep an AI-built website under control?

Dispatch sits above the coding agent, repository, and host. Every agent-made change is previewed, routed for approval by role and risk tier, attributed to whoever or whatever made it, and reversible with a one-click restore. It also monitors the site, scores it, and drafts fixes for the team to review. It is live at dispatchvault.com.

Why does an AI consultant build his own products?

Because the fastest way to know what works is to use it. My projects are where I test new AI tools, models, and workflows on real users and real data before recommending them. The advice clients get has been put to work, not just read about, and the lessons carry straight into my services and ZINC’s execution.

Are Jim Zaslaw’s projects built as AI-native websites?

Yes. Each project is an AI-native codebase, built and maintained with AI coding agents. That is the same operating model I help clients evaluate in an AI Website Transition Strategy, so I can speak to what it takes in practice: the speed, the review process, and where people still need to be in the loop.

Can Jim Zaslaw help my business build something similar?

Yes. The usual first step is a free AI and Digital Opportunity Assessment to find where AI can create the most value in your business. If the answer involves a new AI-powered product, website, or workflow, ZINC, the agency I lead, can build it with me involved from strategy through launch.
